What?

Wow, this trip has NOT hit me yet...I cannot believe I am going out of country tomorrow. I am thoroughly ready/speechless...

This is happening!

Tomorrow is the day I leave for Uruguay...oh my goodness I am so very excited and I just really want to go. I have been so fortunate as to be able to go into this country and learn about these peoples' culture and to teach them about Jesus Christ and what He did for us. I am feeling about one hundred different emotions at once and I just cannot wait to get there. All in all, the actual travel time will be about 11 & and 1/2 hours. I am ready to be a servant towards Christ and I am ready to be used to the best of my abilities. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for me...I love ya'll so much.

Two days?!

Wow, I cannot believe it is SO close. I am so ready to just go...I am ready to be in the culture and meet all the people. God use me to the best of my abilities!! Let our team be used by You. Thank you for all of your support and prayers.

Oh and not one of our team members had to pay anything! God is gracious :)

TEN DAYS

Wow, we are only 10 days out from our trip to Uruguay :)

I am so super excited and I am ready to serve as God wants me to. I still need about $200 more and I'm hoping God will provide me with the rest of it so I do not have to worry about finance issues. Thank you again for all the love, support, and prayers.  I am so grateful and I am blessed to have people there for me.

I am continuing to work on my dance and it is my number one priority right now in preperation for this trip...I still have to choreograph about 2:30 of the dance, which is a lot to get down in about a week.

So close...

Okay so here is a new update:
I am only around $200 away from reaching my goal!! I have been so blessed and I am grateful for everything that y'all have donated and what God has provided in my life.

Also, I have now decided to dance in one of the night service in Uruguay. I have started choreographing it today and well I'm working hard. But I will get it done soon, I'm using some of my lyrical dance that I performed this year. Oh and the song is "Come as You Are" by Pocket Full of Rocks.

Today we made blankets for the elderly home we are visiting, but surprise there will be around 60 people so we are giving hats too.

T-minus 13 days and counting :)

Grateful

Okay so everyone has completely and totally amazed me with everything. God is so merciful and gracious and I praise Him with all my heart. Everyone has been so gracious with their donations and I have raised $1,411 so far!! And that does not include my cut for the general fund for the yard sale. I cannot tell you how grateful I am. It blows my mind that I have been able to raise almost all of it in about two months. Thank you to everyone. Even though I am really close, there are others in need in our mission team. All the money I make after my $1,800 will go to help out my other team members.

It's coming along :)

Alright so the total amount that I have received for the trip is $941!! (mind that this total is from a few weeks ago) I will get another update tomorrow from my pastor. Thank you so much to everyone. I have been getting really excited and cannot wait for what God has in store for our team. I will keep an update every week or more!

God amazes me!

The flea market went fantastic! We made over $4000 dollars, God is amazing and has given us what we have needed so far. I am getting really excited for this trip. Thank you to everyone who has been praying and gave money to me, it means more than anything in the world.

CHICK-FIL-A

So on April 18th from 5-8 we are having a spirit night at the South Franklin Chick-Fil-A!! When you order please tell the cashier you are here for your group's spirit nght. We will recieve 20% from each sale. So come out and eat some good 'ole chicken at Chick-Fil-A!!

Yard Sale

This huge sale will be going on Friday, April 8th and Saturday, April 9th, 7am-6pm Friday and 7am-2pm Saturday.  The location is Perry's Home Outlet in Spring Hill on Hwy 31, just south of Lowe's.  In addition to the sale, there will be an Easter bunny for kids and delicious baked goods available to buy!  Please stop by to support our trip.

Donations are also needed as well. Any donation you are willing to give is completely and 100% accepted. You can donate anything from clothes to movies to even furniture! For your convenience, we will also have drop off locations available on Sunday, April 3rd and Monday, April 4th in Franklin and Spring Hill.  For more information about that, please contact me and I will help you find the location closest to you!  You may also bring items to Perry's Home Outlet on Thursday, April 7th. Also, we can come pick up your supplies if need be.

Hey everyone!

Okay, so this is where I will be posting all of my info about the Uruguay Mission Trip! Well first we already have our information about when we're leaving. We are leaving Wednesday June 8th and returning Friday June 17th! So we will be there for nine days!!! I am so excited and ready to be used by God and to use my gifts that he gave me to help people in Montevideo, Uruguay. Uruguay (in case you didn't know) is in South America, it's located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.

The total cost for this trip will be $1800. Yes it is a lot of money, but I know that God will provide what I cannot. If you feel led to donate then, checks can be made out to Gateway Church for tax deduction, and can be sent to Gateway Church, 1276 Lewisburg Pike Suite J, Franklin, TN 37064. But please leave the memo of the check blank and attach a note with my name on it to the check.
